Launceston will see the return of Jamie Bricknell (CRG), Adrian Harper (Gillard) Daimon Shelton (Birel) all in the Lights and Jason White, Steve Rice will return in the Heavy’s .

Jamie Bricknell has been running Sprint Cars and won the ROOKIE OF THE YEAR award last weekend!

Today Tasmania Promotion Officer, Ross Crack announced a 5 race series for Leopards.

The Series will be conducted over the four Tasmanian Club Titles at each of the four tracks with the fifth being held in August at the Circular Head Kart Club.

Remo Luciani, the engine importer said
” Tasmania has now come in line with other States by having the five race series of which Tasmanians can qualify to go to the World Titles”.

You only need to race in 3 ROUNDS to be eligible to enter for the Final Shootout!!

Mr. Crack said “the Leopard series has shown a gradual increase in numbers in Tasmania and this year will be no exception to the growth being shown within karting in Tasmania”.

These rounds will see the first three as Sunday day meetings, with a two day meeting at Launceston in June, followed by the last round with Leopards under Lights at CHKC North West Trucks Twilight meeting.
